The nurse´s examination

The nurse´s examination is an interview that deals with important areas of your life and consists of eight different parts with a number of questions covering each area. The interview covers things such as where and how you have lived, what your family situation is at present and in the past. It also addresses tobacco and alcohol habits, as well as how your working life developed. In addition the interview continues with what and how you manage daily life e.g. functioning ability.
A part of the nurse´s test is a memory test.

She will also ask you about your eating habits and if you receive any help either formally from a care-giver or from a relative. Even questions about how you percieve your life situation are a part of the examination.
