In the northeast corner of Hälsingland, the beautiful community of Nordanstig lies between the glimmering sea and the slopes of mount Älvåsen. The community is sited in rural surroundings with a few small villages and it hosts about 10 000 people with great possibilites to enjoy the silence of the nature.
SNAC-Nordanstig is one of the representants of the countryside in the SNAC-project. It is also the most northern site in the study. When collecting data in the population perspective a visit at the home of the elder is conducted by a nurse. The visit is a positive and joyable time, boyh for the interviewed and for the nurse.
